American Eagle Institute is a Taiwanese company founded in 1997 with the goal of providing children in Asia with quality English education. There are over 40 franchise schools in both Taiwan and China region as of year 2012. Here we provide an all-English environment for students and follow the English curriculum as set by North American standards. At American Eagle, we teach children 3~15 years old, with an evenly distributed focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. We encourage a classroom environment that is both fun and educational.
Apart from providing children with the best English education we can offer, American Eagle also offers teachers a chance to grow. All teachers go through a 20-hour in-school training which includes: curriculum goals and teaching methods, classroom management, parent communications, cultural differences, and class simulations, etc. Teachers have a chance to better themselves as teachers, and also learn about local cultures. Beyond being a teacher, there is also promotion opportunities, including being a trainer, curriculum developer, and/or manager.
